The Indian Room in Balham delivered another splendid meal. We took our friend from Australia - she had to have a curry in London - and she was really impressed. We shared the chicken tikka masala, fish curry and the chicken madras, all delicious. This is our favourite local and does the best curry in South London, my (very fussy) partner goes further and says the best in all of London. Oh, and great service and good value. Yum.
Real hidden gem!! Lived in Balham a while and didn't know this existed. It is a very small restaurant but outstanding food - delicious and well presented. Lovely helpful staff and great value for money. Perfect curry house!! Highly recommended.
Had a lovely meal as usual at the Indian Room last night. As ever, really good food, lovely staff - a really good night. We love it there and always have great food served by really lovely people. The staff are generous too and offered us all a free drink at the end of the meal, which is good value anyway. Top night all round.
The Indian Room is our venue of choice for a fantastic local Indian meal. The staff as always welcoming and attentive, there's one guy who has the biggest smile that always makes you feel very welcome! For a good night out with delicious food and service, head here. Highly recommend.
Indian Room is very close to where I live but I had never tried it. However, I had notices that it was always full (and the Indian next door wasn't) so we tried it last night. Food was lovely, tasty and fresh - and the presentation was a cut above your normal Indian. Very nice and reasonably priced. Will definitely go back.
My boyfriend and I had another tasty meal at the Indian Room on Friday night. Luckily for us we live really near by and it's a great place to have on your doorstep. It's really reasonably priced for the quality of the food and the staff are genuinely lovely and friendly and always pleased to see you. We love the Indian Room, it's great value, good, interesting, flavoursome food with some trad/some different options on the menu and it's dead friendly.
I would highly recommend Indian Room. The food is fantatic, the service is great and it is excellent value. I've been several times and always thought that their curries are amongst the best i've had. Until this visit i'd not had a starter, it turns out that they are great too - i'd recommend the salmon.
Indian Rooms in Balham is a great place wih a great menu, I've never had a bad meal here yet. I ate here with my girlfriend on Friday night. I had the Chingri Massala which was perfect, spicy but not too hot, and my girlfriend had the Korma which also got a thumbs up from her. The waiters are also great, very attentive and have an excellent knowledge of the menu. I highly recommend Indian Rooms, and reckon it's the best Curry Restaurant in Balham...
